I believe power of friendship

I believe in the power of friendship;  friends are beauty of life,I have long memory of friendship, I got my first friend when I was grade one in school, he shared with me a lot in the class, break time and launch, he was part of my life, we help each other. For example he was help me when something difficult to me like math. we were classmate,same soccer team  and also neighbor.whatever he want to do he was ask me advice before he did.

In 2014 he planned to travel to another country then he came to me and told me , it was dark night for me , I asked him a lot of questions why he is leaving ,how long  he will be there ,when will he come back. We took him to the airport ,it was sad time to me.

When I become older, I had other friends, I was lucky I have never had  a bad friend, they were all so nice and friendly. No matter what,  I can’t forget those guys in my life, they were my wings. I lived in four different countries, and someone was always there who made me feel welcome. In spite of the fact that my life was chaos, they helped to ground me.

Beautiful and memorable days make me happy when I remember, Friends care, depend on each other, build trust, and enjoy life with each other.it is a matter of time but I would like to live with them for the rest of my life.

Imagine how you feel after long time when  you meet your best friend and share each other  childhood memories ,what beautiful  sitting with longtime friends .whenever I call him , we take hours to talk about our lives and future plans.we always joke and ask each other when you will marry and how many kids you would like to have .

Now, I have lived in the US for 10 months.  I contact my new friends every weekend, some friends are longtime friends who used to be my classmate;  I will never forget them wherever they are.

Growth mindset

Rain Day

Rain make the environment clean ,green and refresh the air also rain is good for farmers.when it is raining people change their style ,they use umbrella and plastic coats,a rainy day is a lot of fun for kids,people have different views of rain,some welcome the rain while others not,majority those use work and use bus don't like rain.

Raindrops ,rainbows and good smile of the rain attracts many people,in the evening when the rain and sun appear together it is very beautiful,also it is nice when it rains midnight we sleep deeply and happy.

Regions are different to the rain,sunshine state like rain more than others,when raindrop  hit the hot earth and and earth coming alive remains memories to brain .

Fitness

Fitness is the advise of the doctors to avoid obesity,diabetic and hypertension disease ,there are  hundreds of fitness center across the country , some people  are already fit but they want to maintain ,while other people are beginners ,it is hard for first time.

Most of the people who register fitness centers  don't continue ,time is the main reason ,when you work eight hours, it is hard to go fitness center that is what stack most people.

Some people  use diet to fit their body,to go diet is another strategy of decreasing fat and fitting your body,

finally every person can do his own fitness at home and watch videos about that,it is easy if you adapt it ,go a head don't stop .

Weekends

you can guess why i like weekends,after five days of hard work , i take rest Saturday and Sunday,i sleep more hours and take time with my family ,i go to Somali cafeteria to drink tea with friends  .

some weekends i stay at home,i wash my clothes and clean the home .in the afternoons i go for walk when i come back i watch the News and other programs.in the summer time i arrange soccer time and we play in the afternoons, as whole weekend is my favorite.

LIVING WITH KIDS

Snow Day

Snow is not new to me,but  i never seen like this one,it was snowing around 10 hours all most, all the night,normally i watched the News before i sleep,so it was not an surprise  to me and i was expecting this,one i woke up i checked the update many places were closed such as offices ,schools and jobs.

There are many people who were waiting like this days to practice some valuable games such as Tic-Tac-Snow,Sugar Daddy and other more,how ever snow made some people feel terrible and stacked them to do their normal day life while others felt happy. 

Advantage of Class debate

Usually class debates  begin slow becouse students are shy,after a days they adapt and start class debate,it is very important to participate it ,you can find out your errors, you will also get a lot of advantage which will help you to build your English ,it doesn't matter what ever error you talk about ,you will be corrected by other students and the Teacher.

In somali language we have wisdom says "Two people don't learn shy person and proud person",it looks true when you see some of the students don't like class debates,some of the schools ,debates are 30% of the classes and they grade it,finally lets take new energy for class debates.

People person

To be an extrovert is good habit and simple way you can strengthen your relation with community ,i try to be a social person even if Iam not ,i like to pretend it,Iam a member of different groups like soccer team,job fair and other youth groups, i also like to join other social activity groups.

Everyday i call some of my friends for greeting and joking,weekends we come together and share information about life ,job and school,we know people not good all ,sometimes you may meet bad person ,like that case
i prefer to greet and show him open face only.

Holman library visist

We visited to the  library  yesterday,it was interesting to see a lot of Books  in different shelves ,they have  thousands of books , DVDs and  hundreds of computers ,we also saw  silent reading rooms and group discussion rooms,it was my first time  to visit all departments of the holman library.

we were lucky to met one of the library staff ,she shared with us important information about library ,she told us easiest way we can you use library resources,then we want a class room and she showed us library internet page ,finally each student chose a book to read at home .

UPGRADING YOUR WRITING SKILLS

To be good writer it takes a lot of time  and more practice ,always practice   is what make you super writer who keep rules of writing like capitalizing ,grammar,spelling and punctuation ,you should write essays ,letter and sometimes stories which may be fictions or not ,when you make writing part of your hobbies  it will be easier for you to write a lot ,for me ,i was doing writing for long time and Iam still under correction .

Importance of student feedback

It is important to know result of your job so student feedback is very important to lecturers and Students,Lecturers use Students feedback to  know their students level , what kind of lesson they need,which places they are good and which place they are weak .
Students also use  feedback to find out and upgrade their weakness .most of the Institutes do feedback to evaluate their students and what they need next season to cover so that Students feedback help them to know all that information.

Seattle winter coldness

Seattle  is very cold at winter time,most of jobs ,school and other life activity become slow,some of the people they like winter especially snowing they always go mountain rainier and play sleds and other winter plays ,other people like immigrants and refuges they don't like most of them cold and snow ,you may like to sleep long hours winter time and work less hours while summer and other seasons jobs are more .

1. Stevie,s song ‘hold on to your dream’ is so interesting I love each and every word in this song but some of the statements is so attractive like

We know the life has ups and downs ,we know everything don’t finish success so sometimes if you fail to reach your goal or dream don’t give up hold on to your dream and  you will be successful ,Paul Laurence’s song is about dreams and how he is broad to it ,at last paragraph he mention some bad memories before this  ,the most statement I  love is ”what dream we have and how they fly”   .

 2.Martin luther king  and Stevie wonder were both activists of civil rights ,they were living 20^th century ,it was a time that civil rights was down, they fought  and struggle how to make people’s right equal, it was actually Quit difficult and had some memorial painful times.

Martin luther king and Stevie have some difference, Stevie always express his activist in way of songs and poems, which is emotional, Stevie made movement to create a national day for martin Luther king’s jr birthday, he has long history of improving blind people services and disabilities, Martin luther king’s activist is towards mainly equity of the African American ,white people ,Jews and latins rights, he was the leader of  southern Christian church ,finally he dead for his activist.

Langston hughes’s poem is about  dream ,let we take one statement and compare with Martin luther king historical speech “I have dream”, martin luther king was having a dream to make all the parts of the community equal and make America great,martin  luther king keep continue his dream until he killed for that reason ,Langston’s poem’s is just talk about to keep your dream even if your dream die and said:
